New school?????

Summertime is finally here, and no matter if you are heading of to college next year, high school or in my case a gymnasium, or just changing schools, it’s scary as hell. I’m seventeen,  and this previous year I took a 10 grade at a brand new school. After 10 years at the same school, I suddenly had to start in a new place, where i knew no one. It was the most terrifying thing EVER!!!!!
But what I learned from it was, it always seems more scary than it is. I ended up having the best year of my life, and I was so scared that I wouldn’t find any friends and I would be all alone.
My best advice for you is “Be open”. When you are starting somewhere new, and you don’t know anyone, be open. You don’t want to be the person sitting in the corner alone all year. Because you will, not to scare anyone, but if you are all closed up from day one, you will not find any friends.
Not saying that you should pretend to be anything your not. Be yourself and that way you will find true friends.
